Privacy policy

tiebreak.gr is a directory of tennis courts. It has no accounts, asks for no registration, and collects nothing from you in order to be read. What follows is precisely what does happen.

Who is responsible

Data controller: HØLY®, 8 Lontou St, 106 81 Athens, Greece.

Contact: hello@tiebreak.gr.

For anything concerning personal data, write to that address. We answer within one month, as the Regulation requires.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, and only if you agree to it. Until you press "Accept" no measurement cookie is written: the consent settings load before the tool itself and every signal starts denied.

If you accept, two cookies are set, _ga and _ga_CGN5BFL4ST, holding a random number so that a return visit can be told from a new one. They expire in two years. What is recorded is the page you viewed, where you came from, your country and your device type.

The legal basis is your consent, and nothing else. You can withdraw it whenever you like: . Withdrawing does not merely stop the measurement — it deletes both cookies from your browser.

The data is processed by Google Ireland Limited as processor and may be transferred outside the EU under the Standard Contractual Clauses. We run no advertising, do no profiling, and sell data to nobody.

What is stored on your device

Besides the cookies above, we keep a single value in your browser’s local storage, named tb-consent: your answer to the cookie question. It stays on your device, is sent nowhere, and exists precisely so that we do not ask you again.

Your filters and searches live in the page URL so that you can share it. They are not stored and are not linked to you.

Corrections and ownership claims

There is no form that posts data to a server of ours. When you press "Correct the details" or "This is mine", your own email client opens with the fields filled in. The message leaves from your own account, you decide what to write, and we receive an ordinary email.

We keep those messages for as long as it takes to check and apply the correction, then delete them. We do not use them to send you anything.

The venue details

The directory contains names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of clubs, academies and municipal departments. All of it comes from publicly published sources: the official websites of clubs and municipalities, the EFOA register, and OpenStreetMap. Court positions come from OpenStreetMap and are made available under the ODbL licence.

Most of that is organisational contact information, not personal. Some of it — a coach’s mobile, say — may in practice identify an individual. The legal basis for publishing it is legitimate interest: a directory of courts with no way to contact them serves nobody.

If a detail concerns you and you want it removed or corrected, write to us and we will do it. We will not ask you to justify yourself.

What third parties run here

  • Vercel — hosting. It keeps technical request logs.
  • OpenStreetMap and CARTO — the map tiles. Your browser requests images directly from them, so they see your IP address.
  • Open-Meteo — the rainfall reading on the clay page. No key and no cookies.
  • Google Fonts — the typefaces used on the page.
  • Google Analytics — only if you accept, as described above.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. An email is enough.

If you believe we have not dealt with you properly, you may complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
