Municipal does not mean free. Most municipalities in Attica charge €8 to €10 an hour. These are the 5 venues (14 courts) where we can point to the decision or regulation that makes them free, plus the 6 municipalities that publish a free policy without saying which court it applies to.
Every one of these needs a booking — by phone, email or platform — and most cap you at a couple of hours a week. Some want a medical certificate or a residency card. "Free" is about the fee, not the paperwork.
Council decision 7/2019: free for residents of Petroupoli. You need an Athlete's Card from the municipal pool and a code from the club, then you book online — two one-hour slots a week.

No fee is set for individual players. The tennis court still needs an appointment by email to the municipal Sports Department, Mon–Fri 09:00–13:00 — unlike the basketball and football courts in the same park, which are simply open.

Ο δήμος δεν χρεώνει την πρόσβαση στους αθλητικούς του χώρους. Κατέθεσε πρόσφατη ιατρική βεβαίωση στην Αντιδημαρχία Πολιτισμού και Αθλητισμού και κλείσε ώρα τηλεφωνικά.

Ο δήμος ανακοινώνει δωρεάν πρόσβαση για ενήλικες. Τηλεφώνησε πρώτα στο Τμήμα Παιδείας και Πολιτισμού: ο δήμος τοποθετεί τα γήπεδα στη συμβολή Πλαστήρα και Λαχανά, όχι εκεί που τα δείχνει ο χάρτης.
